We Are The Champions
After 10 years of drought and embarrassment, the UST Growling Tigers finally bagged the crown as the UAAP Men's Basketball champions.I remember going gaga over the game during my freshman year at the university. It was a dismaying season where UST scored a 10-0 status during the elims only to lose in the end versus La Salle. There were even accusations that two of the team's players, Yao and Oreta, were bribed by the rival team to play a losing game, as evident by their failed shots and poor defense on the court.
But what the heck, past is past. Today is 2006, the 69th season of the UAAP, and the UST Growling Tigers emerged as the champions. Go Uste!
A cute, fluffy tiger lazily licks its claws and wags its tail in satisfaction. It clears its throat and coughs out a blue feather. *burp*
